ABOUT KIM: Following a fulfilling gymnastics career, her yoga journey began in 2013 when she was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, a break and slip in two vertebraes. Due to this, she started critical alignment yoga which focused on correct alignment of the spine and pelvis. Eventually, she began to be drawn more to the subtle body and energetic fields of yoga and began a devoted asana and meditation practice, while still having to take care of her injured back. In 2018 she completed my Yin Yoga Level 1 certification, in 2019 she had major surgery to correct her spine and in 2020 she completed Yin Yoga level 2. Also in 2020 she completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Raja/Hatha Yoga. She believe yoga to be cleansing for the body, mind, and spirit in order to bring us closer to our authentic selves and she hopes to help guide others along this journey.
